This is not my intellectual property - It is that of Tool and their copyright holders.

I use it only to address the notion of a secret track on the album, and that finding said track is not a simple process of adding two tracks together.

For whatever reason, the two tracks do not overlap properly with the longer track, and I aim to point out the inherent problems of such clashes.

But who is to say that this was not intentional upon Tool's part. After all, we can never fully realise the true artistic intent of the band until they say so, and so far they have been somewhat reluctant to do so.

You will hear 10,000 days through the Left speaker, and the other parts in the Right for ease of hearing the way the tracks overlay.

Please read the annotations before commenting. They give an insight into the piece as a whole. Thanks.

  • Sorry which of you is a member of Tool? Because using phrases like "sorry for the bad news", "clearly", "morons" etc etc sure makes it sound like you're sure, but only the band know. Your opinion is not correct until proven so; don't talk down to people who don't share it.

  • @chaza221 I agree with this dude.

  • FUK THEY ARE MEANT TO BE REARRANGED AND LAYERED !!!, THATS WHAT VIGINITI TRES MEANS , THEY ALL FIT TO THE SECOND , , NOT EVERYONE IS GONNA PULL OUT A PROGRAM AND NIT PICK LIKE THIS ,

  • @silverburst79 Y U MAD BRO?

  • @buttmonkey3 In my opinion, nobody fucked up in the recording. I don't think the tracks are meant to be layered over each other. There are things called "refrains" that happen in albums all of the time. Pink Floyd (in the wall, animals, wish you were here, etc...) Just because they sing the same melody, doesn't mean they want you to put the music over each other. Two Cents.

  • perhaps it's simply a reprise and not intended to do anything other than cause we nauseating maniacs to try to make it work? :)

  • @PizzaHunter2011 Now I'm listening to it .... don't do this to me bro. I don't want to cut up Virginiti Tres ....

  • @silverburst79 Nope, this is a fan-boy fantasy. What happens here is a "REFRAIN". It's one of the oldest musical tools. Like a chorus or verse or bridge. Also, the secret to the album has been revealed, and it's not "stack songs on top of each other" - the secret is that the album's tracks represent the chakras in a metaphorical sense.

Sorry for the bad news. Refrains don't mean puzzle pieces.

  • @silverburst79 If they think this "works" then they clearly don't play instruments.

  • @VitalemRecords yes they did , this guy is just making it ridiculously more complex than its supposed to be

  • how many of you actually play music or understand it at all , morons

  • @PizzaHunter2011 have you even listened to it synched without a program its about a split second from being perfect ,
