  • A dodge button make a hell of a lot of sense in 3D games! But only in games which have fast paced combat that requires it, like Devil May Cry. Games with a heavy focus on combat also require 2 (or maybe more) buttons for different kinds of attacks, since that's pretty much the whole game. I've never played Bionic Commando, but from what I gather the combat in that game doesn't require those things. But it doesn't mean they shouldn't be in some games. But I guess that's Bob's point anyway.

  • Three words. KIRBY. AIR. RIDE. One of the most fun racing games I've ever played that managed to repurpose the incredibly simple control scheme (Uses only direction joystick and A button) into three different kinds of game (Your typical racer, a bird view modification of the racer, and an open world/city game based around upgrading your ship before aan ultimate showdown of skill). This game is easy beyond imagining to learn, but it takes a while to master, and it never ceases to be fun. THIS

  • The camera being the left stick and the movement being the right is what messed me up. (I subcontously nearly wrote the other way arround.)

  • ok. im grew up playing nes,snes and sega. last system i owned was a ps2, i stil play pc games these days, bur i gotta say YOUR WRONG..yes these games have tons of buttons, and in the old days (which are not that old) they ony had 1,2, and 3 buttons but games evolved, theres only so many games you can do with 3 buttons, everything you say in opinion hell half the time you say "in my opinion" yet you still tell people they are "WRONG". i payed games with lot of controls, it took me few mins to
