sodium acetate solution is obtained by mixing sodium and baking soda, no need to buy the stuff. proportions are about 4 tbsp of baking soda for every liter of regular clear vinegar, mix in one tbsp at a time to the vinegar in a big saucepan or something, (so it doesn't fizz over) and just stir it until it's done fizzing, put it on the stove.. medium heat until it's boiling (not boiling over) then pour into container and chill for 30 min in fridge.
