WC 09: Snyder Talks Batman 3

uhh i am really bored and need some action... Anyone?

Any true batman fan would totally disagree with a Zack Snyder batman film. He may be a good director but he centres too much around sex and violence, which has nothing to do with the essential heroic roots of the dark knight.

he wasnt talking about the dark knight he means the dark knight returns he talked about it on some blogg but still true there is not alot of sex in that because in returns he is a self centerd drunk ass hole who learns the world does need a batman

yeah, i know he was talking about the dark knight returns, and i wasn't talking about the dark knight the film, i was talking merely about batman's image.

All in all, they should only portray the most heroic version of batman in any batman film they want to make in future. Apart from Paul Dini, Bruce Timm, Chris Nolan and David Goyer, nobody has really come close to portraying a heroic character.

People who want to see batman portrayed as a drunk asshole definitely dont "get" batman...

dont get me wrong i love batman always have but i think they should do the dark knight returns because i love how bad ass he is as an older yet newer batman showing gotham that the leggend lives on and it shows him at his most vunarable stage and i think that val kilmer would be perfect for the part as batman in the dark knight hes mor bulked up and older just dye his hair partley gray find an old dude to play superman and we got a bad ass movie

My main point is that Zack Snyder is the wrong person to be directing batman because his idea of heroes are quite twisted and corrupt actually.

dont worry its cool and yeah zack snyder is the one of the last persons i would want to see direct a batman movie hes not sick in the head he is trying to rite the wwrong that has been created in gotham and avenge his parents at the same time i love the dark knight but theres fan films that i think are so much better.

if snyder got his hands on the dark knight returns and give it same same treatment he gave 300 w/c is another frank miller we'd be getting some great shit.

You're missing the point... compare 300 to a typical batman story and you'll see why I disagree with a batman film directed by snyder.

Yeah, I understand all that. I just didn't dig it though. I don't know what it was, it felt so boring and drawn out. I read it when I was 15 and hated it, then I gave it another go when I was 19, and aside from the art I couldn't say much else about it. Then again I've never been too impressed with any comic book. The only comic book that has blown me away was Watchmen and there hasn't been another one since.
