You see the sht.of waferboard,under the edges all around it,is a 2"x2" board that makes a frame that's screwed into the waferboard.On the left you can see the door hinges I screwed into the wall studs,on the upper,&lower right(unseen,underneath)are 2-36"long,2"x2" legs.I drilled into the 2x2 frame,& through the tops of the legs,&ran 5"bolts &washers through them,so they fold down to hold the sheet up on the outer edges.When done racing there's a hook on the top,& it folds back upto the wall.

Under the table, around the edges are 2"x2" boards screwed to the top, this frame allows a couple more 2x2 legs,about 36" long, to be put on by drilling a hole into the front side edges, and running a bolt through the frame, and the legs.Then they have 3 DOOR hinges in the wall in the studs, so I can fold the table up to the wall AND CLIP IT TO THE WALL, when done racing, when I un-hook it from the wall and it drops, the front 2 legs fall down to hold the outer edge up.

Well, you know what a 2x4 is, well lumberyards also sell 2x2 pieces in 8' lengthsYou want them at least on one side as straight as possible.. I went around the 4x8 sheet of waferboard, and screwed the 2x2's to it creating a boarder, or frame around the backside...Dennis
