從小到大，聽過各式各樣我們都是一家人的歌。告訴大家we are the world、明天會更好、四海都有中國人、我們是同胞.....。不過到最後，我們仍然不是一家人，而且唱過之後，感情也不見得變得比較好。那為什麼我還要作這首歌呢?
畢竟，所有的人都能和樂相處，還是一個美好的理想。我也希望，會有或多或少的人因為我這首歌，而牽起他們的手。不過我也知道，即使是家人，也有吵架的時候....。
