@matthmatthmatth I actually have the job, i leave for basic training on the 31st of this month, and start school in january, so im just trying to get a head start. that does sound pretty simple though, i know it won't be that simple but hopefully its not too hard either. thanks for the reply

@mikesixer3 Figuring out how far an a/c will travel in a set time .. so for example, 180kts is 2 miles a minute. That and figuring out plus times, if you need to - travel time from A to B is 10 minutes, B to C is 8 minutes, C to D is 10 minutes. When the plane gets over position A, you would then have to add 10 minutes for their estimate at B, and another 8 minutes for their estimate at C, and another 10 minutes for their estimate at D. It's pretty simple stuff, good luck with your application

I doubt the NYPD would EVER hire a person of your magnitude if they knew how childish you are on here .. it is often a reflection of how you would act during confrontation in real life. I once gave serious thought to a career in ATC. I read articles and books and even bought some AT-SAT prep software, but I don't pack the gears for it. Best to leave it to the pros. Hats off to them.
