You missed the point entirely. I'm not criticising Helfgott. I am stating the FACT that he is a competent rather than outstanding pianist. I hold nothing against him for the fact that that he is merely a moderately talented player, rather than someone who had to earn fame through pure artistic merit. It's the idiots that continue to hype him up through fictionalised bullshit that I'm criticising.

How sad it is indeed...
Just spend 3 hours watching the man play in person and just appreciate what it is to live. This man has brought joy and inspiration to millions of people in this world either directly or indirectly... What have you done lately that is so great and righteous to warrant your criticism of a man who has never spoken ill of you?
