@Aeshist I watched the movie...It was pretty good but everything just happened so fast there was no time to breath. Id give it a high rental 3+ stars out of 5. I was still glad that I watched the movie.

I wanna see the book "Storm of Iron" as a movie! That or the Horus Herasy books.
But mostly Storm of Iron as its no good guys in it, it has several plots and its made from Chaos viewpoint.

no, I wanna see a movie with the sige of terra including the imp fists but there has to be also motorcicle action by white scars with a great orc battle and the imperial army on armageddon and than the tyranides attacing and then then came the spacemarines and then .. BOOAAAAAM!

@FallenAquila I partially agree, but mostly disagree. While I am more of a Guard/Inquisition fan and believe the SMs get too much spotlight (especially the Ultras), some authors have made very decent works of fiction using Space Marine characters. Dan Abnett himself has done so.

I'm waiting for the day when they release a proper 40k movie series produced by a Hollywood studio with a $200 million budget and famous stars in it, not some animated 70min film. A full length re-telling of the Horus Heresy, made into like a trilogy similar to Lord of the Rings.
That would be the best movie ever made.
