Hooked on Driving event at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Advanced Group using NASCAR banks 3 & 4 (instead of the regular turns 10 - 14) - 09/12/2009
Driving the E46 M3, chasing Felix (white E92 M3), Bruno (Blue E46 M3), and Juan (black Shelby). Yes, I was very slow in this one - tires were just about done in.
Speeds around the banks were around 125 mph (for me). Coming out of the banks and into the front straight I was able to reach about 145 mph. It was different, but by noon several of us requested to be moved to the Intermediate group so we can practice the typical road course (with turns 10-14).

I'm using this video as a "pre-game" film for this weekend. I haven't used the Nascar turns at Homestead yet, but it looks a lot like a smaller version of Daytona. If you're going, let's plan on me filming you for a few laps.

I'll be there, but won't be driving. The banks are significantly less steep than at Daytona (almost half). Hopefully we'll get to meet on Sunday. By the way, we're still waiting for you to join us TrackWeekend the website :)
