Of the 52 Subs Still on Patrol, 36 were "LOST WITH ALL HANDS"...No action footage, no ships exploding in a ball of fire.. no planes crashing into crowded flight decks, the boats were rebuilt, the planes flew again. America and the Navy rebuilt, ..and we forgot... Eternal Father, strong to save, Whose arm hath bound the restless wave, Who bidd'st the mighty ocean deep Its own appointed limits keep; O Saviour, whose almighty word, The winds and waves submissive heard, Who walkedst on the foaming deep, And calm amid its rage didst sleep; Oh, hear us when we cry to Thee, For those in peril on the sea! Amen.

The worse thing is to find out how many of our boats were lost to friendly fire. God watch over all our sailors, as the sea is a unforgiving entity.
