Part 1 of the ceremony honoring Tony Esposito on March 19, 2008. The Blackhawks welcomed back their great Hall of Fame goaltender after the previous owner had neglected the relationship for decades. Among Tony-O's former teammates brought back to help honor him were Rick Paterson, Peter Marsh, Troy Murray, Denis Savard, Dale Tallon and a special appearance by Tony's Hall of Fame brother Phil.

Tony Esposito was always my favorite hockey player. I was a goalie, too. You know, I always thought that they should've made Dryden a backup in the '72 series against the Russians. Dryden was a great goalie, a hall of famer, but he just didn't play very well against the Russians; he never had a great game against them. If they had stuck with Tony-O, I think Canada would've won sooner. Just my opinion.
