Forgot to mention I'm a former Christian for 17 years. I'm currently 18, so that means I have my anxieties/depression since 6.

'Ya know, as an atheist myself, it wasn't science or logic that made me one, but my painful experience as a person who suffered from social anxiety, depression and OCD for 12 years. I tried to repent to be saved, always blaming myself for almost everything, yet I always get silence and experience the same bullshit everyfuckingday. This was not a test of faith, this was TORTURE. God's inability to relieve this pain that almost made me give up and take my own life is the reason why I'm an atheist.

You know the trinity is not even mentioned in Bible, so how can anyone say anything about it? If it existed, wouldn't it be mentioned in the Bible? And there are so many things that I don't understand like how could the Father send the Son to earth when both are the same one entity? This means God sent Himself??!! And also Jesus praying to the Father would mean that God is praying to God!!??!?

I usually understand something first before believing it...

its kind of hard to explain but jesus came 2 earth and paid for our sins so we can hav a better relationship with the father. but i will look for bible verses to help u and either way just keep praying because god knows ur heart

Sorry, I don't understand. So if I pray to GOD directly, HE won't accept it unless I go through Jesus?

as long as u pray that is most important. but u should just say in jesus name at the end of ur prayer because jesus is the bridge between man and god

kittiest34 ur comment on that there is no satan is completely wrong. how do u explain the evil in this world?/ thats the devils greatest trick to make u think he doesnt exist. but i have great news 4 u. u can avoid eternity with satan if u recieve jesus christ as ur lord and savior. as of know u may not love the lord but he sure loves u

I believe in their existence but I do not worship them; and I do not believe they are gods. Polytheism is believing in more than one God, and that is what I believe. One God in Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

It is true though, because you should not wait until you understand everything fully to believe. I do not understand everything about it but I believe and I gain more understanding.

I must say I am touched about the good shepard part however, the Christian God really doesn't care for those who stray but in fact causes them to stray, for the bible says that Jesus is the author finisher (emphasize finisher) of one's faith. Poetic prayer though, I used to pray just like that when I believed.
