What is not known about this movie is that it is a true story based on the life of Bill Thomas. We were shocked at the end when NBC put in the credits that the story was fiction. If you want to learn more, read his book The Shoe Leather Treatment.

I watched this movie on TV when it was aired in '78. Powerful stuff.

Great Movie! Saw this late at night when I was to lazy to flip the channels! Was worth it. This movie was in the same vein as, One flew over the Cuckoos nest, and I must admit was a well thought out Tv movie!
