Unsubscribing From Closed Channels Guide - YouTube Help

**TURN ANNOTATIONS ON, they mark an important change to this video's information!**

Lol, I'm not asking people to unsubscribe from me, I made this video because I occasionally get a few questions on how to unsubscribe from a channel.

This is a quick guide on how to unsubscribe from a YouTube channel.


There are two ways:

- Look into that person's profile page and click "Edit Subscription" in the upper left of the box above the profile description box. Then choose the 'Unsubscribe' option.

or

- Go to 'Account', then click the 'Subscriptions' link and all your subscriptions will be displayed on the left hand side. Click the subscription you want to unsubscribe from, then click the "Edit Subscription" link on the right side of the screen, then choose the 'Unsubscribe' option for each subscription you'd like to remove.

The second option will work even if the channel has been closed or suspended.

There are a couple of other ways (one which was just recently added), but I don't talk about them in this video. I might have to make a new update video to show the new method.

(PS- knightsofhyrule is a channel that I sometimes use... it's not someone I'm campaigning against or anything :P )

To the people having trouble: READ THE ANNOTATIONS! I'll probably end up having to upload an update video to this, but the Unsubscribe button has been replaced with an 'Edit Subscription' link, which isn't very noticeable, but it's there.

I have unsubsribed a news channel, but I still keep getting their new videos listed under my "subscriber section" even though they are no longer...what can be done? thank you

I've heard about that, but I don't know what could be causing it.  From what I've heard, it doesn't seem to be a site-wide issue, and is only affecting some people.

could anyone please help, im subscribed to a shit channel so i unsubscribed but the videos keep coming up even though ive unsubbed?? why is this? its been like 3 months now since ive unsubbed and yet the videos still come up!

im getting relly annoyed now, the channel uploaded like 30 videos today and im pist!
