The Apprentice offered no surprises at the park as it flew perfectly. I could even take off from grass that was a bit long for the smaller 15-size wheels. I had plenty of power when needed and the flight time was a full 15 minutes as advertised. The Apprentice could loop, roll, and slow down to fly within a smaller soccer-sized field.

  • I have one, first plane and super easy to fly. I crashed it pretty hard though (tail section tor right off) But a little hot glue and some tooth picks and its good a new :P

  • got one for christmas scared im gunna crash it. but im getting help at an airfield

  • Just crashed it big time! :-(

  • I'm buying one this weekend, yay!!

  • @tjseid if you have never flowen at all the Apprentice is a great first plane if your going to try and learn on your own

if you have a flying field you can go to to get help the PTS T-34 is even better but wont take a crash as well as the foamy will

  • Great plane but NOT RTF. That statement is really disingenuous. If you are a complete beginner you must also buy some 30-minute epoxy and have a 12v power source to power the included "charger" and have a #1 electronics style phillips screwdriver.

  • @Icywolf44 same question

  • good job- no moosic, no nonstop chatter

  • hi, im new to RC flying and im wondering whether i should get a e-flite beaver, e-flite apprentice or a park zone super cub. I want a good beginer plane to start out with and those are my choices

  • @TheFlight17 this would be a great plane to learn on. my first plane was this one and I have never regretted buying it.
