Picture In Picture/Split screen

Learning how to create split screen or picture in picture effect. In Adobe Premiere Elements add a clip to the Video 2 track in the timeline view and right click on it, uncheck "Scale to Frame Size" and scale and position the video as desired. You can also select Effects and add a Crop effect to this second clip and then click on the Properties icon to the left of the zoom slider above the timeline and adjust the crop on each of the four sides of the clip. To get a split screen you just crop and position the two videos to fill the screen as desired.

This looks great do you have any others where you print your explanations in this instructional manner I'm kind of slow keeping pace your printed explanation is very helpful with showing the video! For some reason my software of Adobe Premiere Elements 7 never came with a manual do you know of any books that show and explains their functions of the software? Please let me know I'm becoming frustrated doing the trial and error routine!
