  • Wszystkich miłośników Porsche zapraszam na swój profil i bloga :D

  • If you 'definitely know how to drive,' then you have more to learn than you think. If you think you know how to drive a 911 because you know how to drive a front-engined, rear drive car, then you will probably wrap one around a telephone pole the first day you get one.

  • Good point, crmhere9, the 911s are difficult to handle if you aren't careful. You really have to concentrate and not be on your cell phone. Also, I've seen one without air conditioning! I love it! Less to go wrong. And no coolant to freeze and damage the motor.

  • The Boxster is a boxer engine not an inline six. If you want an inline six, get a BMW inline 6, for example, in the three-series. The 2001 Boxster 2.7 is powerful at 225 hp. Once you drive a Boxster and compare it to an old 911, for example, a 1987 911 Carrera, you'll see the Box is a generation ahead of the old 911s. They are classic. The Box is refined. Go drive either one. Neither will disappoint.

  • I definitely know how to drive. I learned to drive on a track in a friends Viper. The viper is worse than a 911. A viper will truly kill you if you don't know how to drive. It isn't an issue of driving ability. I am looking at performance and looks. I would get a Viper, but it is kinda really out of my price range right now.

  • i am not sure about the 1990 911. but i know most of the 911's i've driven will tear a novice to pieces. So the question is do you think you can handle a 911, or are you too into the modern comforts that driving around in your audi brings.

  • What is that supposed to mean?

  • You know f*ck all.

  • I'm looking into buying eather a 1990 911 Targa or a 2000 boxster. In my opinion, the older 911s are ugly, but you can't argue with the performance advantage of any 911 over any boxster. The boxsters look great but it is underpowered with its 2.5L inline 6. The newer boxsters have a 3.4L, but it still is underpowered with that.
