you have to adjust your open eye at exactly 90 degrees from the X or O you are looking at!!!
-
you need to adjust your distance from the screen sometimes. I had this in my Biology 30 text book. It worked if I pulled the text book to about 20cm from my eyes. Works here too.

the moment the image strikes the optic disc also known as the "blind spot", the image will disappear, because the optic disc contains no photoreceptor(cons & rods).

Better Instructions:
Full screen, pause when there is only an X and a O on the screen. Begin close to the screen looking at the O with your right eye and your left covered, or at the X with your left eye. Now slowly back up until the symbol your not looking at disappears.
