All road cars should have their exhausts tuned to make this sound.

somehow. it makes me curious. what if with today's technology of internal combustion engines, no restrictions of alloys to be used in the engine, and given this size of an engine block of a 3.5 liter v12 naturaly-aspirated, what kind of performance will F1 cars have given those things. a 3.5 lter v12 that revs up to 20,000 rpm or even more, whatever the engine can achieve. i wonder how much power will that give out and what kind of engine note will that give.

well. that's the turbo era of the 80's where the environment wasn't a big consideration yet. even the naturally-aspirated engines before whether be it race car or road car.

but bear in mind the upcoming turbo engines are there primarily to save fuel. so... i guess the power figures that will be aimed to are the ones produced by the restricted naturally-aspirated engines of today, 750 hp more or less.
