Window's Vista microphone / headset problem PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

As seen in the video my microphone dose'nt work, I can lisen through it, but cannot speak into it...
Anyone have a solution.

Is it realtek?
Is it seting's?
I have problem's need an answar!

Running Windows 7 64bit

I have Astros A40 and when i plug them in to my laptop i have an M11x it detects them with realtek hd and asks me what device i had just plugged in... If i don't choose the mic in option, Im able to talk perfect, but just the second i click okay, even if its on the mic in option im not able to speak on anything(skype, recording,etc)... any suggestions on what i can do would be appreciated :)
