تم شراء وتجربة الماسح الضوئي المحمول (سكانر) من شركة
VuPoint Magic Wand

الجربة تتكون من:
- المسح الضوئي لمنشورات اعلانية
- المسح الضوئي لكتاب مرن (لين) مع تجربة مسح بعض الصفحات الداخلية
- المسح الضوئي لكتاب صلب مع تجربة مسح بعض الصفحات الداخلية
- المسح الضوئي لمادة صلية (سطح المكتب)

النتيجة جيدة ومرضية جدا...لكن المشكلة في مسح الصفحات الداخلية لأي كتاب وذلك لأن الصفحة ليست مستوية تماما مما يؤدي الى صورة غير واضحة. أفضل طريقة لمسح صفحات الكتاب هي من الجانب الأيمن الى الجانب الأيسر أو العكس بدلا من الأعلى الى الأسفل (انظر اخر المقطع): مع قليل من التدريب تصبح النتائج أفضل بكثير.

This is a quick review of the portable scanner Magic Wand from VuPoint

The review covers only how to scan items. the scanned items used are as follows:
- 2 Brochures (multi-pages and a single page)
- Soft-Cover book (scanning thecover and some inner pages)
- Hard-Cover book (scanning thecover and some inner pages)
- Hard material (table surface)

The results of the scanning was stunning and clear with one condition, FLAT. The test fails with the inner pages of the book because they were not flat; the best way around that is to scan pages from side to side instead of top to bottom (see the last try in the video) and with few practice as well.
