steep driveway

Diane informed us this house has been under construction for three years. Also, heavy mary-jane could be smelled from the premesis. Note the poor decision on the pitch of the driveway. Imagine pulling your car into the garage during a typical Oregon Ice storm.

I guess they ended up ripping out the entire front where the garage was and I believe they ended up wrapping the driveway around the house. I'll ask my sister to take a video of the modifications.

Was the builder able to fix this driveway? I have been looking at a home that has a steep driveway. I live where it snows and the driveway would be dangerous. It's not this steep but a similar situation. I was looking for a possible solution...if there was a way to change the angle, build a retainer wall....something????
