  • Nice to hear the old Hammonds being played. I have a Model AB around 1937-38. What tone cabinet are you using - it doesn't sound like a Leslie unless its on stop...??

  • Great Sound! These guys have a jazzy soulful sound enriched by traditional jazz tones of years past. The keyboard player sounds like Charles Earland, Jack McDuff,etc. The Drummer has great timing and a nice jazzy shuffle groove which put you in the mind of the drummer that played with Earland, named Bobby Durham. Nice 'Swingin' sound. They also remind me of being at the Lighthouse Cafe in Hermosa Beach, Ca. Next time I'm in town I will be sure to stop in.
