@glenfieldmathk1 You do need to take the front off on Miele's.... remember there is no concrete block but instead a cast iron drum weight across the front and back of the drum

@vishalvora nahh its not bearrings, because then it would sound like a rocket taking off, yeahh probably a weight block loose like jcwasher said. worth a check coz this washer is too good to throw away

because i had same problem with my old miele i changed shock absorbers but nothing happened !!! when i use spin on high speed i hear a similar noise i checked the drum while spining i opened the machine from the top to see if the drum hits somewhere but it didint so i understood i need new drum bearings :(

i had this on a friends washing machie and it ended up being the concret block loose, try tightning the bolts on it???

@jcwasher Thanks, how do I get the front door off to check? The noise has actually gone away since doing two service washes.
