I liked the questions about planning and development. I always like hearing about how the ideas for new concepts are born. Bob Mampe spoke a bit about that at the Carowinds 2010 Coaster Stock, even mentioning they felt that they were basically being challenged by enthusiasts that were saying that "B&M couldn't build a hyper coaster". So they did.

@themeparkreviewTPR I ran into the same thing you did Robb did when I talked to a B&M rep in 2010. He wasn't able to speak about Raptor at Gardaland even though it was a huge deal at the time as it was under construction. It stinks, but it makes sense. They don't want to steal a park's thunder.

@HD4amian Part 6.

I imagine the Hooters and Tilted Kilt chains are looking at the Fishpipe with a great deal of interest.

@abjustblue Why is their secrecy "shameful"? Does the ride involve nudity or sex with farm animals? Or did you mean that their secrecy is merely "annoying"?
-
Fishpipe looks like washing machine the ride... Awesome!

The B&M coaster will be done in 2012 PortAventura is not even mentioned, the secrecy that has PortAventura is shameful.

how the hell did he forget about the best wing coaster of 2012
I like when you said at the beginning "Kumba, Montu, Sheikra; rides all over the world!" When all 3 of those rides are in the same park lol

@TheSpizer In my head I totally said "some of our favorite coasters in Florida" since the show was in Florida, but of course that part didn't make it out! I mean, I personally think the trio of B&Ms at BGT is the best collection of them in the world. The interviews with Walter are always a bit difficult, because he's not a man of many words. Go look at our past years interviews with him, it's the same story. It's either have a brief and vague interview, or none at all. Kind of a toss-up! ;)

b&m interview was so awkward

@kpmcm Walter doesn't really like to do the interviews. And they always ask me if I would like to interview a different person, but it's kind like, how do you turn down the B in B&M over someone else, even though you kind of know it may not be the best interview?

@kpmcm They also told me before the interview they were not really able to talk about any coasters that aren't currently open, even if they had been announced, other than the park they were going to, and the type of coaster it was. So it sort of made it a bit of a difficult interview to do. I mean, really, it was just more of "Hi, we're here talking to B&M....and....yeah ... so we're here talking to B&M."
