Great Space Coaster - Goriddle Gorilla

Both of this puppets freaked me out...also the laugh track kind of added to the weirdness of the show. I remember the actual people singing yellow submarine in one episode. Great theme song too!

Same here... he ws like a bearded-Spock version of the Cookie Monster. The kicker I think was that the puppeteers bothered to give him an illustrated mouth with _teeth_, guaranteed to give you nightmares of him attacking you and biting off fingers for making eye-contact with him. *brrr*

Did you know Goriddle was played by puppeteer Kevin Clash, the same man who today performs Elmo and Clifford from the Muppets? This show is where he attracted the attention of his hero, Jim Henson!

what i think you and Stevenwernke fail to realize is that the world of puppetry, at least at that level, was relatively small. That is why some of the puppeteers, voice actors, designers, etc for The Great Space Coaster also had experience working on The Muppet Show and/or Sesame Street.
