My son Gavin has been in South Korea on an LDS mission for 2 years (Dec 4 2008 to Dec 15 2010). We kept his return date a secret from his mom who thought he had extended and didn't think he would be home for 6 more weeks. She was very sad that he wouldn't be home for Christmas.
We managed to sneak him home without her knowing.
Here is the video of us surprising her with the best Christmas present a mom could hope for.
