Phenomenal actress Agnes Moorehead appeared on Password in April 1967 along with Broadway actor Barry Nelson. This fifth, and final, day broadcast on Friday April 28, 1967 on CBS.
Agnes is best known as Endora from "Bewitched" and is wearing a diamond starburst brooch she wore many times on "Bewitched" and that she left in her will to co-star Elizabeth Montgomery.
@RichHartley19671 I agree. Or that because Nelson played "angle" Agnes, knowing she couldn't just switch words in the middle of the game, also played "angle". She looks a bit befuddled when Nelson gives clues for angle. And then for some reason Ludden says "Look at your word again. It's alright he knew what he was saying."

I thought the word was ANGEL---those halo-wearing winged people in heaven.

@RichHartley19671 exactly right. They were all playing the word "angle" but the technician put up the word "angel."

I don't think that Allen Ludden played the incorrect word. Notice that Barry Nelson gave for his clue the prefix "tri-" for "triangle," and in similar vein, Agnes Moorehead gave the clue "geometric." That would mean that each one of them misread his word in the clue packet--maybe one of them might misread it, but both of them at the same time? I think whoever gave the clue to the audience was the one who mistook "angle" for "angel."
