I like how Munchausen and his opponent take the time to move chess pieces in the middle of a swordfight! I love this kind of humor! It definitely fits the Baron's style!

although a great influence on others himself, Karel Zeman must have been influenced by the great movies The Thief of Baghdad, both the new (1961) as well as the old (1924) versions, with Sabo and Douglas Fairbanks in them respectively.

this is an awesome movie, it reminds me of the animated sequences they used to do on monty python- yet when terry gilliam(from monty python) did a remake it had none of the animation. I am suprised this is not a classic movie in america

Otázkou není, jestli je potřebuju já, otázkou je zda je nepotřebuje někdo jiný (jako mí příbuzní co česky neumí) a jakou kvalitu současné titulky nabízí - upřímně řečeno - ne moc slavnou.

odpověď je taková, že ty titulky jsou jediný co jsem našel na netu a jsou zjevně na jinou verzi filmu, než kterou jsem uploadoval; jsou zkrácené věty, či uplně schází v určitých částech filmu. Snažil sem se to přizpůsobit, timing neni pravda nejlepší, ale dokud nevyjde oficiální dvd, tak to asi lepší nebude...
