@DontRunWithDaScissor just play around with the settings on both guitar AND amp, some light effects as well as a medium amount of gain and good contour i find :)

Brilliant technique for me to attempt to emulate. I'm very much a beginner and just about got the 1st and 2nd parts slowly done but finding hard to get the string to sound on the 1st pulloff of the 2nd part - feels like I'm learning to read all over again. You have inspired me to keep at it. I'm 53yrs old and Jimi Hendrix Experience was the 1st LP I bought for my 11th Birthday!
My parents didn't get it at all - especially the 'Smashing of the Amps'! Thank you for this lesson - don't stop.

This right here shows just how great Jimi Hedrix really was. Some may think this is a simple lesson due to the fact that it's all center around the E minor pentatonic scale.. But is not. This solo is amazing and it has alot to offer!
