I had to meet clients from time to time at Outwrite, and always thought the atmosphere there was so freakin' cool. This is a shame that another Atlanta institution is going down the toilet because of this rotten economy. I keep hearing it is improving, but I see no signs of it. The closing of Outwrite is just another prime example of the fact, that things, are not getting better. I hope nothing but good things in the future of the staff, who were always cordial when I was there.

So many fond memories. This place is quintessential. I'm still a bit speechless that it actually is going away. The future LGBT youth will never have the kind of resources and community center like Outwrite provided. :(
