Vision's Fugitive

This is the film I made in the last year of my fine art degree at Middlesex Mniversity, over a period of 8 months (amongst a pile of other projects) in 1994-5. I did everything except the acting/voices with support and encouragement from friends.

Highlights included. being a director!, Shooting on a wind up camera, developing the film and work print on the cheap at the london film makers co-op, 3 months access to a 6 plate Steinbeck..., getting the film cut at Pinewood Studios and printed at Rank film labs (where they gave me a private screening in a 6 seat cinema complete with curtains, light, projector room...and a technician to tell what to change... half my budget). making this film for 500 pounds, when my tutor had predicted it would cost 4 grand. and finally the fun of seeing it projected nice and big with audiences.

... it's not really fine art.
