2011 was a bumper year for flying at Lift Off Levin, with several new and successful events and innovations. David and Kiri Kirk were at the Saturday evening Balloon Glow at Donnelly Park, capturing all of the fun of that event, including the mass fly-in and of course the magical Balloon Glow. They were also up early the next morning to catch the Second Annual Lake Horowhenua Balloon Regatta, where balloonists competed by towing boats across the surface of the lake for as long as possible.
