@rednoseroxy exactly...

The ringing is that qd mount - the tuning fork effect.

@minigunner1980 I agree 150 is way too low but I also wouldn't say at least 180gr as you're suggesting. I use 168 SMK which was recommended to me by a US military sniper and is also recommended on many shooting forums online. Obviously the heavier bullet will hold course better at longer distances. No reason to be a dick about it. I have tried many and 168 suites my barrel.

@rednoseroxy it's called back story.

I kinda wanna get a rifle, but I want it suppressed: not so that I can be stealthy because silencers don't even really do that, but because I don't want my hearing damaged, nor do I want to have any hesitation when firing without protection if I am hunting. What are laws on these things?

@FranciscoSRO2 they are both very accurate guns, but the probability of you getting a m24 is much less slim then the 700p. I wouldnt quote me but i think they have similar barrel weights but rifling varies between. They both sport HS precision stocks, the m24 has a slightly more fancy stock with an adjustable cheak piece, while the 700p does not.
But if you really wanted a accurate gun for cheap, i would look at the 700 SPS Varmint, its the same action and barrel as the 700p, and half the price

Wow, a minute and thirty four seconds of total bullshit just to hear a single shot. It's called EDITING. Check it out.
