People should come up to Birchwood during Blue Gill Fest. It is 3 days of fun. Different events take place during the fest. Everything from softball games to street dances at night. Then there is go cart races and last year we had a mecanicle bull. And of course the last day is a big parade and water fights. The water fights are given by the local fire deparments around Birchwood. But Blue Gill Fest is a great time of the summer.
