excuse my ignorance, but I'm using a simple virtual keyboard called synthesia.. but I want something that will sound as brilliant/amazing as the piano's that you've sampled. Any suggestions?

This is a very helpful comparison. Thanks!

you should do a comparison of bosendorfers

It is wonderful. But the Steinway pianos are very much better. By the way, the YAMAHA C7 is my dream. Steinways are expensives to me. Sorry for Bad English.

I think 7CG has the edge. How do you think these stack up against Ivory II/Italian etc?

@cbmtrx i don't have any experience with Ivory; sorry. These are all very good in their own way. I really am partial to the Reason Pianos for use in a band context because of their tone and micing options (used in the intro song). You really don't need a lot of velocity layers when you're blending with a band. If you are doing something more intimate or dynamic, then you might want to steer more towards something like the 7CG from Sampletekk.

I actually searched youtube for a Sampletekk TBO demo the day after you uploaded it! What are the odds? This is great man. Thanks for doing this. I'm looking forward to episode 2!

@betterfilmmaking It's happening soon! Keep your eyes peeled...
It's gonna include Steinway D's from Sampletekk, Galaxy pianos, Reason pianos, NI, Vir2 and others.
