On Halloween night, the sound of the Trinity organ filled the dark church. World-renowned organist Cameron Carpenter played in the eerie light of the ornate candelabras, casting a spell.

  • Not just organists but many other performers are gay. The whole entertainment business, in fact every walk of life has gay people. The critisism here has got more to do with some jealousy of those who feel inadiquate in the light of such talent or who have difficulty accepting the realities of themselves. Everyones tatses vary but have no baring on our skills and talents. We are who we are, and we are all human and we are all fantastic.

  • wow, who gives a crap that he's gay... i doubt any of you can do this.

  • @ davbear221:What the hell is wrong with you? This is a Classical piece. Many,MANY Classical masterpieces works are done in churches BECAUSE some of your bigger churches HAVE these bigger organs. Apparently you're talking out of your posterior end and have NO clue about organs for one and two...well...yah..you just have ZERO clue!

  • WHAT AN EXTREMELY TACKY THING TO DO IN A SACRED CHURCH!!!!!!

  • i wish Trinity would put out a DVD with all of Cameron's performances. both 2006/2009 concerts and this Halloween performance. i bet they would sell like hotcakes

  • WOW! This lads good.

  • Ya know no one liked Virgil Fox or the way he did thing either.....but this guy just may light a fire under a few others that will keep the organ alive. Look at coral Ridge Pres they have gone contempoary (please excuse my spelling) the art of the organ is being lost. Small churches are letting pipe organs die and replaceing them not with Allen or Rodgers but with keyboards from Wal Mart...so have a little respect.

  • This song is Toccata and Fugue in D minor by J.S Bach

  • What´s the name of this song?

    tell me please!

  • refreshing change from the countless unmemorable versions that can be found. great to hear someone have their individual take on this, great performance.

  • I think so many fols are boring........do you actually think that JS himself would not have "spiced" this, a very rock and roll composition, music up time after bloody time???

And dont you also think that Bach was feeling a bit Hellish too at age 19 or so, as we all felt or oats??? Boring you are. Dont miss the excitable. I applaud this man for the refreshments. Be gone tradionalist, at least for the sake of FUN! Or dont you know that work?/
