we raised her from reallly really young, her name is Chippy (of course) and she now lives in our frontyard on our deck.

Yea, you need to put the bowl away from you about 6 feet at least and sit as still as you can for possibly up to an hour or 30 minutes each day and see if she'll come, don't startle em though, we have ones here that we didn't raise that are tame enough to come about 6 ft from us. Eventually move the bowl up towards you closer and closer, patience is the only way lol

woow, you found it and it was dying? how old was it? i cant beleave this is a wild caught chipmuck, its so friendly and seems to like people and isnt scared, ithought you had it from like a new born or something

@XSammyRocket yea she was on the verge of death, but yea she is friendly and still is, will jump ujp in my hand if i have sunflower seeds and will crawl on me unless i make a fast move, she is still kinda jumpy, but thats how she's survived for 3 years.

@kittykatmocker124 yea she was adorable, I don't think our state allows it either but she was dying so we had to save her; but thats why we let her go, because they really shouldn't be kept as pets, they need TONS of room and dirt to burrow in....plus a girl and a boy woudln't get along, chipmunks fight lol they are really territorial, so you'd have to have just one.

I saved a baby chipmunk once and it did not even have its eyes open.my parents guessed it fell when my dad drove in the drive way, the chipmunk was propible on the low branch and fell. I took it in because it had a broken leg and I knew I should of taken care of it.i let it go 1 year later. My sister hade a toy that could be a prededor of the chipmunk and I thought him somehow what to do.
