@AceofDlamonds The Mantis Shrimp does actually produce a small bubble and sonoluminescence quite like the Pistol Shrimp, but you're right that the heat from the Mantis Shrimp's bubbles is nowhere near the sun-like Pistol Shrimp's clicks.

This is a "high speed" video? It looks like someone slowed it the hell down. I am not impressed.

@altcommand The "high speed" refers to the number of frames per second of footage (i.e. 5000, which is impressive in itself). If you look at videos in real time of mantis shrimp strikes, there is virtually nothing to see since it is so quick. If you're still not impressed, skip forward to the moment of impact in this video. See the little white bubble that appears? For a split second, the temperature there is as hot as the surface of the sun. THAT is impressive.
