I don't know anything about this particular curriculum- I stumbled upon this conversation months ago and was intrigued by it, not the video... The curriculum is not on my desk and I will not be using it, be it wonderful or heretical...

However, I do not appreciate being told by someone I don't know that I haven't read the Bible. Thankfully, our identity is in Christ and not our brothers and sisters.

@neobefree--I find it interesting that you would criticize me having no idea what I believe or teach. You speak much of the names of God, yet you use the name Jehovah which is not to be found in scripture anywhere except some obscure translation that got it wrong. The name God gave to the people of Israel is Yahweh. And my point still stands that Psalm 2 has no bearing on the discussion at hand, nor is this curriculum apostacy. Your entire judgment is based on a video.

@pastorjanes --- All of their focus is on the Environment, as depicted in THEIR video. This is supposed to be a Vacation Bible School, right? Have they run out of ideas for preaching the Creation, the Commandments, the Prophets, the Kings, the Psalms, the Proverbs, the Gospel, the Letters, the Revelation???

What about a VBS on the Names of God? What about a VBS on Holy Spirit (Ruach haQodesh)? What about a VBS on Romans? James? Hebrews? Ecclesiastes?

No, no time for that! Reduce, reuse..

No, there's nothing wrong with Christians being good stewards of their environment, Elohim's creation. The problem comes with these New Age "ministers" infiltrating the "emergent" church and pressing this pathetic, godless, Christ-less agenda.

@neobefree - Ah, yes. Let us all remove ourselves from each other and only engage people that are just like us. Let's stear clear from folks with different ideas. That's just what Christ taught... Go ye therefore into your homes and stay away from the world. We homeschool as well but thankfully (for our kids and the Kingdom) not out of fear of anyone who has different ideas than us.
