On the k4.6 is the fly wheel suppose to be touching the crank case ?

he's right. a supercharger is ment to produce a overpressure which causes more oxigen + fuel in the chamber. The effect is, it needs more fule without additional power. Why? THe holes for the fresh air and the "old air"/exhaust are open at the same time so there cant be an overpressure...usually the the exhaust hole is longer open than the mixture hole...use wiki to see some pitures
