First time we started up our Ford V8 302 engine into a Delorean conversion. It was a shit car when we got it with a blown engine. Clearly this video was made before all the bugs were worked out and things perfected.

  • Well it starts just like a Ford.

  • These idiots just cant let us have anything. First, the description clearly states that it was made before bugs were worked out. Second, its not a priceless car. I runs $40,000 to $50,000 for a NOS built car and a little less used. Have a little imagination ya pricks! Besides, its not the value of the car, its the passion you put in it that counts.

  • fix your distributor

  • what tranny are you useing? i ask because im putting a 4.3 chevy v6 in my delorean.

  • Nice. Definitely a step in the right direction. Running at all with a strong motor isn't a bad way for it to be, bet all sorted out that'd be fun.

    What's become of it?

  • Is it a bad idea to install an engine that actually works ???

  • ''ONE POINT 21 JIGGAWATTS'' bet that bitch'l run faster than 88 miles per hour!

  • Everything mjolnir is saying is absolutely correct. And this statement is coming from an actual owner.

  • Runs better then the stock POS french V6 it came with...still has a LOT more work to do before I'd call it "done" I'd at least do fuel injection and better heads/intake.

  • @bjmicha3 My ford's sure doesn't start like that, just takes a flick of the key for any of mine.

  • You people are idiots. Deloreans are not "priceless," and quite honestly they were pretty crappy cars when they came out. They were lucky if they made 130 HP and went 0-60 in 10.5 seconds; in the films they had to overdub the pathetic V6 engine noise with that of a V8. Real deloreans were VERY underpowered and putting a V8 in it is actually giving it the treatment it deserves. These aren't ferraris; they are only famous because of films in which their true engine noise was covered up.

  • All the comments on here are amusing. You have no idea where this came from or what it looked like before. Go "deck out" your 1991 Accords and Civics. Or is that not cool anymore? Oh wait it never was to anyone except you! lol
