Most heart attacks start slowly, with mild pain and discomfort. Many times people aren't sure what's wrong and wait too long before getting help. Which is why it's important for us to listen to our bodies.

Roy McKeefry thought he was coming down with the flu. He ignored, dismissed or explained away his symptoms as something less life-threatening. By the time he arrived in Urgent Care, Roy was experiencing a massive heart attack that could have claimed his life.
