That was in Portland, of December 2004. I remember my dad picking me up from my mom's in Salem and driving to Astoria that night. Fortunately for me, my dad had a 4X4 F350 with studded tires. I'd say we fared far better than the gentleman in the SUV did. (Jackass! You turn the wheel in the direction of the skid! You do not cut the wheel inside!)
