SonicProjects Stringer is a VSTi plugin for windows that provides top quality samplesets of the following 3 string machines:

- ARP Omni 2 ( the successor of Solina )
- Logan String Melody II
- Welson Symphony

Each of these machines has its own distinct sound. The three different characters complement each other very well:

ARP Omni 2:
Clear, shining, shimmering

Logan String Melody II:
Fat, warm, organic, middy

Weson Symphony:
Balanced, restrained, smooth

The original machines have been sampled key by key using high end Apogee (TM) convertors which guarantee for a very stable clock. Each sample was restaurated and looped manually. Loop lenghts are up to 6 seconds and match the original beating for 100% identical reproduction.

There are two independent engines that can be layered, splitted and even can be sent to independent outputs on demand.

The new 2.0 version has a new and better looking user interface, new presets and 3 switchable envelope response curves (natural, logarithmic, linear) per engine to achieve various sound characters.
