@GFonk16BIT yeah, I think you're way off here, dude. She's not trying to say "fifty". Besides, if you look at the video she pours one measure of vermouth in but more than one measure of gin (not clear how much). So whatever it is, it ain't fifty-fifty.

you said it bruddah, 50:50 is the way to go. not only have you shattered the ice, but you've shattered the myth about the wet martini. a straight gin martini is rather harsh and biting (even w/plymouth), but a fiddy is a good way to get your plaster on and stay in it for the long run.
