Paying no federal income tax

CNN's Jack Cafferty wonders if it's OK that General Electric and Bank of America paid no federal income taxes last year.

All I was saying nine months ago was that the rich will make their percentage of return on investment no matter how much tax is levyed, therefore the tax will be passed on to the consumer. The rich will invest their money only where they can make their percentage, The corporations are owned by rich investers. It is the way the system is set up. I cant make my point any clearer. I wish there was some way we could dig the money out of their pockets but raiseing taxes dose not work.

@dapop1001 Raise the price of goods? You don't believe in capitalism, if they raise the prices, people will buy less and thus they will loose money. The founding fathers would never allow this tax dodging to occur, it is immoral and disgusting, these people are CORPORATIST NOT CAPITALIST!! Capitalism has rules, and is controlled by people. Corporatism means these companies control the government. This tax dodging is 4/5 the reason we're in debt.

Corporations are the ONLY ones required by law to pay federal income tax, not US citizens. Unconscionable that they can get away with this crap!

I'm sure after these companies squeeze the juice out of the usa they'll pull up their stakes once and for all and relocate to one of the BRIC nations. Based on their zero investment in the USA by not creating jobs or new factories this will be sooner than most people think.

The rich DO NOT PAY TAXES! If taxes are placed on the rich, they raise the price of the goods and services, covering the tax and makeing a profit for the trouble. True social harmony grows naturally out of solidarity of interests. In a society where those who always work never have anything, while those who never work enjoy everything, solidarity of interests is non-existent; hence social harmony is but a myth. Straight forward- Income--%tax - no government control of civilian economics
