i have a ux1.. to be honest..it needs more distortions (amp models) .. it only has 3 good amp cabs ...of course you can make good distortions with them ..but it needs more..it would be better to use a guitar rig or something else if you're not able to pay for the model pack (metal shop etc) of this interface..

@lukas28ytb Only if you need the phantompower for a condenser mic. or the multiple inputs for recording multiple instruments/mics. simultaneously. That's what my friend told me and he has the ux2. He recommended the ux1 for solo projects and he stated the recording quality is the same with both the ux1 and ux2.

would you recommend buying ux 2 rather than ux 1 ? ux 1 has the perfect sound in my opinion, but is it worth to pay 30 more bucks for the ux 2 ?

Nice stuff, does the software come with any premade backing tracks, drum beats or background effects that you can add on top of the guitar. Also, are there effects to turn a guitar sound to other instruments?
