Lesser Demon and any other one enemy (does not have to be another Lesser Demon) in Magma Rock. (Must be exactly two enemies, though.)

Doing this will always get you a Rune Blade.

= NOTES ABOUT ADJUSTING THIS RNG METHOD
- This must be the first enemy party you encounter after a hard reset. If it isn't, keep hard resetting until you encounter it. (A hard reset involves saving your game data, then turning the GBA on and off, or reloading your ROM [NOT a save state, reset function on emulators may not work either.])
- Make sure none of your party members are afflicted by any status ailments. This includes haunt, poison and curses. (Do not wear any cursed equipment while attempting these RNG methods.)
- You don't have to use the exact Psynergies shown, but they must affect the same amount of targets and be of the same type (i.e. attack/healing/support/status - this means Aura and Pure Wish are functionally the same, as are Quake and Glacier, for the purposes of the RNG Method).
- Turn order doesn't matter, as long as the Djinn is unleashed at the same point in the 2nd turn as shown, and the enemies do not get a chance to do anything (until you kill the first enemy).
- It MAY matter which Djinn you use, so try using the one shown.
- All 4 characters should be in their base class (all Djinn of their own innate element), or the Djinn unleash might not net you the item.
- The accompanying enemy must not die until you're ready to do the Djinn unleash. The enemy whose item you want to get must not die until the Djinn unleash.
- Whatever happens after the Djinn kills the enemy doesn't matter, so long as you win the battle.

  • when i did this i got hitoko mask instead of the rune blade.

  • You either killed the wrong enemy or did not do the RNG method properly. If you are having issues getting it to work, please carefully read the video description. If you do everything accordingly and still have issues, the FAQ linked at the bottom of the description has a very comprehensive explanation of the RNG system and may provide the answer for you.

  • would have been nice if you let us look at the stats to see if it was even worth getting

  • T-T i need help i keep hard resetting but i cant get a lesser demon and another monster and ive done this about 15 times already WHAT AM I DOING WRONG.

  • wat game is this

  • As long as we reach an understanding, that's fine with me.

  • That's fine and all, but really, these methods are for people who do not want to, or simply cannot, wrap their heads around how to manipulate the game's RNG, and as such, I've tried to make the whole process the least confusing I can make it.

If you read some of the comments on other videos, some people are making simple mistakes in adjusting the methods that are addressed in the description, or do not even adjust them at all or fight the wrong enemies.

  • I'm sorry I was a bit critical of you. It's just criticism kind of. The whole class setup thing is more of "If you're going to be farming materials for over an hour and you need PP or RNGing different enemies, go for a varied setup. Yeah I forgot some Djinn won't work with these, I read the FAQ too, but you wouldn't use Flash for this really and Gust sometimes removes enemies from the field. Blitz, Serac, Char, Geode along those lines.

  • I'm very sorry that my RNG methods do not live up to your expectations, however they were merely intended to be easy to adjust methods for people who do not fully understand how to do RNG methods in the first place, and not for me to flaunt my epeen or any such nonsense.

Also, your comment about the Djinn is absolutely not true. Some attack Djinn generate differing amounts of RN. (The flash does not set a finite RN value, it adds to it) Gust is a good example of this.

  • Also any attack Djinn can be used, but they must be the enemy's weakest element, they'll flash colors when they die

You can tell because it will end the attack with !!! for weakness, ! for normal, period for resistance

  • Such dull class setups though and I mean you can adjust for one enemy, three enemy, multi turn enemies as long as you know the numbers.

    24 RN for 2 enemies, 23 for 3, 25 for 1, subtract 2 for phoenix/firebird, 3 for wonder bird.

Normal attack psy: 2 RN for each enemy hit

Heal psy: 2 RN per character affected

Stat changing psy: 1 RN per ally affected

Normal attacks, status enducing, and enemy stat lowering: don't bother
